The clothes-processor is gentler on your clothes because it is a horizontal axis machine. Our "front loading" washer uses a rocking motion to tumble wash the laundry within the stainless steel drum. There is no agitator to harm your clothes. No agitator also means the machine runs more quietly.
As the water drains by centrifugal force, rather than bottom settling through your clothes, less dirt and detergent residues are left behind.
Front-loading machines also use less water, and therefore less energy and less detergent. The money you save from using fewer resources makes the clothes-processor a great value.
